The Korean War was an extraordinary period in aerial warfare. The early jets achieved speeds beyond the reach of prop aircraft, but pilots still had to rely on their guns, putting their skills to the ultimate test. It was the peak of the art of aerial dogfighting.

Eight meticulously recreated player-controllable aircraft are constructed from real schematics, historical photographs, pilot manuals, and museum documentation. Every gauge functions. Every gunsight operates as it did in the hands of the pilots who flew them.

The largest map in the history of the IL2 series spans the Korean Peninsula during the 1950s, featuring dozens of air bases, hundreds of cities and settlements, historically accurate layouts, seaports, dams, and a vast transport network.
