It's hard to believe, but the first version of IL-2 Sturmovik combat flight sim was released 24 years ago, in November 2001.

To commemorate this anniversary, we have launched the new website of the series - il2-series.com - and the new forum as we have announced a few days ago. You won't be able to log in to the old forum anymore, but it will be kept in read-only state so the information accumulated on it for 12 years (gasp!) can still be found and used.

And another page will appear on the new website this week - after all, 24 years is a pretty good adult age to create a family.
