1. What purchases will be on my account after linking?
  • If the content was purchased on Steam and you play through it, the purchases will be displayed in Steam and will be absent from the "Purchases" section in your profile on our website. This is normal, don't be alarmed.

  • If you have linked your accounts but play through Steam, the purchases you make on the website will not be displayed in Steam, but the content itself will be available in the game when you launch it through Steam.

  • If you have always played through the launcher but want to be able to launch the game version on Steam, you need to purchase the base version of the game on Steam (link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/307960/Il2_SHturmovik_Bitva_za_Stalingrad/), link your accounts to each other, and then all the DLCs and campaigns you previously purchased on the website will be available to you in the game itself.

2. How to link your IL-2 account to Steam
  1. Download the purchased game in Steam.

  2. Upon first launch, you will be prompted to enter the username and password for the profile you previously created (or will create) on the game's website: https://il2-series.com/ ( or https://il2sturmovik.com/).

  3. After linking, you will be able to purchase game add-ons not only on Steam but also on the game's website. They will be available when you launch the game through Steam.

Note: Launching the game via the Il-2.exe file from the folder steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\bin\game does not equal a full launch of the game via the "Play" button in the Steam interface.

 

3. How to transfer all purchases from Steam to the launcher?

Unfortunately, Steam does not have backward compatibility, and if you purchased all your content through the Steam platform, it is impossible to transfer it to the launcher.
